Open Auto Transportation

Open auto transportation is considered the standard method of shipping in the industry today. We can provide open auto transport quotes from anywhere, to anywhere in the U.S. Open transport is generally the cheapest method of auto transport as well because there are more open carriers on the road than any other type. Any quotes you receive from us, unless specified otherwise, will be for open transport.

Enclosed Auto Transportation

Enclosed auto transportation services are not standard, but are considered one of the two main methods of shipping. Enclosed transportation is more expensive than open shipping but offers vehicles more protection from the daily hazards of the road, including inclement weather and damage from road debris. Enclosed is generally recommended for vehicles that are of high value or that are hard to find.

Flatbed Transportation

Flatbed auto transport, otherwise known as lowboy shipping services, is used only when a vehicle is too large or heavy to fit on a standard auto transport truck. Flatbed transportation services are some of the most expensive, and generally take longer to arrange than open or enclosed transport due to so few flatbed shippers operating today. Auto Transport Discounts

Some shippers may qualify for one of our discounts. We offer discounts for all sorts of things, though some don’t apply to everyone. You should call our office for more information regarding all our discounts, but here are some of the more common ones we offer:

  • Multi-car shipments
  • Senior citizens

Overseas Shipping Services

Though we do not offer international shipping, we can ship your vehicle overseas to either Alaska or Hawaii, as well as to the mainland from Alaska or Hawaii. Overseas shipments are, naturally, some of the most expensive services we offer, and different payment methods may need to be arranged to be able to accommodate the service. Auto Transport Methods

We offer several different auto transport methods in addition to open, enclosed or flatbed transport:

  • Door-to-door shipping: ship to and from specific addresses and meet the driver for pickup and delivery
  • Terminal-to-terminal transport: drop your vehicle off at a terminal and pick it up at a terminal so you can go about your daily life without waiting for a truck
  • Door-to-terminal: and vice-versa. Basically a mix of the two. Terminals vary by city, please call for terminal availability.
